Our verdict

Zendesk suits support teams that want one hosted platform for many channels and AI agents, and can budget per agent. Skip it if you need a free plan or want to host the software yourself.

What it does well

  • 14-day free trial with no credit card required
  • Marketplace lists 1,800+ apps and integrations
  • Covers email, messaging, live chat, phone, social and help center

Where it falls short

  • No free plan on the pricing page
  • Monthly billing costs more: $25 per agent versus $19 billed annually
  • AI agent resolutions beyond the included amount cost extra ($1.50 or $2.00 each)
