Jira
Atlassian's project and work management tool with a free plan for up to 10 users.
Our verdict
What it does well
- Free plan for up to 10 users, with 2GB of storage and community support
- Free trial of 7 days for the Standard or Premium plan, no payment details needed
- Scrum and Kanban boards, roadmaps, backlogs, custom workflows and automation
Where it falls short
- Free plan is limited to 10 users and 100 emails per day across the site
- Monthly billing is per user, so cost grows with team size
- Enterprise pricing is not listed; you contact Atlassian for a quote

Jira is Atlassian's project management product. Its site describes giving teams and AI agents context, coordination and control, with intake from Slack and Microsoft Teams, planning, handing work to AI agents, and the Rovo AI teammate. The pricing page also lists Scrum and Kanban boards, roadmaps, backlog management, custom workflows, reports and dashboards, and automation.
On the US pricing page, Free is $0 for up to 10 users with 2GB of storage and community support. Standard is $8.48 and Premium is $15.56 per user per month with monthly billing, in USD. Enterprise has no listed price and goes through Atlassian's sales form. Annual subscriptions are charged by the user tier that best matches your count; the annual per-user prices were not readable on the page.
Atlassian's page lists web, iOS and Android. It also says new Data Center licences ended sale on March 30, 2026, and Data Center reaches end of life on March 28, 2029, so the cloud product is the main route for new customers.
