OpenProject describes itself as open source project management software for classic, agile or hybrid work. It offers Gantt-chart planning, Scrum and Kanban boards, a Team Planner and a Jira migrator. The code is licensed under the GNU General Public License version 3.
The Community edition is free to download and run yourself. Paid editions add support and extra features: Basic is €5.95 per user per month (25-user minimum), Professional €10.95 (25-user minimum), Premium €15.95 (100-user minimum), and Corporate is on request (250-user minimum, on-premises only). Paid plans can be hosted by OpenProject (cloud) or on your own servers, and longer subscription terms get free months.
It runs in the browser and is installed on Linux servers (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS/RHEL, SUSE) or through Docker and Kubernetes. A general-purpose API v3 is documented.
