Adobe Firefly
Adobe's web and mobile app for generating images, video and audio, with a free daily allowance.
Our verdict
What it does well
- Free daily generations across image, video and audio with no plan
- Adobe says its Firefly models are trained on licensed and public-domain content
- Pro plans and up include full Photoshop on web and mobile
Where it falls short
- Credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over
- Partner-model output is left for you to assess before commercial use
- Standard includes up to 20 five-second videos; video and speech use credits
Firefly is Adobe's generative AI app. It generates and edits images, video and audio (soundtracks, speech, sound effects) and includes Boards for collecting and remixing ideas. Adobe says it offers its own Firefly models alongside models from partners such as Google, OpenAI and Kling AI. It runs on the web and has iOS and Android apps.
You do not need a plan to get free daily generations; limits refresh every day, and the page gives no exact free limits. Paid individual plans are Firefly Standard (2,000 generative credits a month), Pro (4,000), Pro Plus (10,000) and Premium (50,000), plus matching team plans. All paid plans list unlimited standard image features such as Generative Fill; video and speech generation use credits. Credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over.
Adobe states that outputs generated with Firefly AI models can be used for commercial purposes, and that content from partner models is yours to assess for your project. Prices on the plans page were shown only in Turkish lira when we fetched it, so no US price is given here.
