Midjourney has no free plan and, per its help center, no free trial on the website or in Discord. Plans start at Basic ($10/month, or $96 billed yearly) and go to Mega at $120/month, mainly differing in Fast GPU time, Relax mode, video resolution and Stealth Mode. Firefly lets you generate for free each day across image, video and audio without any plan, though Adobe does not publish exact free limits on the page we read.
Both sell paid tiers. Firefly's individual plans are Standard (2,000 generative credits a month), Pro (4,000), Pro Plus (10,000) and Premium (50,000), and credits reset each cycle with no rollover. Firefly's plans page showed Turkish lira when we fetched it, so we cannot quote its US prices here; check Adobe's page for your region.
On scope, Midjourney centres on images and video, with a web Editor (crop, pan, Vary Region inpainting) and reference tools for image prompts and styles. Firefly also covers audio (soundtracks, speech, sound effects), Boards for collecting ideas, and models from partners such as Google, OpenAI and Kling AI. Firefly has iOS and Android apps; Midjourney works on midjourney.com and in Discord.
On usage rights, Midjourney says you own what you make, with a Pro or Mega plan required for companies grossing over $1,000,000 USD a year. Adobe says outputs from its Firefly models can be used commercially and that you must assess content from partner models yourself.
