Trello is a board-based tool: you create a board, add cards and move them through lists. It also has an Inbox for capturing to-dos, a Planner that syncs with your calendar, automation, templates and Power-Ups that link it to other apps.
Pricing is per user per month. Free is $0 for up to 10 collaborators per Workspace. Standard is $5 per user per month billed annually ($6 billed monthly), Premium is $10 ($12.50 billed monthly), and Enterprise is $17.50 per user per month billed annually. Workspaces can try Premium free; the trial length is not stated on the page.
Trello works in the browser and has iOS and Android apps, plus desktop apps linked from the app stores. A REST API is documented on Atlassian's developer site.
