Our verdict

Splashtop suits individuals, small teams and IT departments who want a paid remote access or support product with published prices and a trial. Skip it if you want a free plan for personal use, since the official pages list none.

What it does well

  • Trial is described as fully functional with no credit card required
  • Business app for Windows, macOS, Chromebook, Linux, iOS and Android
  • Site lists ISO/IEC 27001 certification and SOC 2 and 3 certifications

Where it falls short

  • No free plan or free personal use is listed; every product is paid after a trial
  • Only annual billing is offered, so the monthly prices are yearly equivalents
  • Each user needs a separate subscription
