Brevo
Email, SMS and CRM platform with a free plan of 300 emails a day and paid plans from $9 a month.
Our verdict
What it does well
- Free plan sends up to 300 emails a day with no credit card
- Pay-as-you-go credits for infrequent senders; credits do not expire
- Also covers SMS, WhatsApp, push, live chat and a sales CRM
Where it falls short
- Removing the Brevo logo is a paid feature, starting with the Starter plan
- Paid plans are priced by emails sent per month, with contact caps on lower tiers
- Professional starts at $350/month and includes 10 seats

Brevo describes itself as an email and SMS marketing, CRM and automation platform. It sends email, SMS, WhatsApp, and web and mobile push messages, offers transactional messaging through SMTP relay and API, and has a sales management product. It lists 150+ integrations such as Shopify, WordPress, Stripe and Zapier, and publishes an open API and SDKs.
The free plan lets you upload contacts and, once your account is approved for sending, send up to 300 emails per day. Paid plans in US dollars: Starter $9 per month (from 5,000 emails per month, no Brevo logo), Standard $18 per month, Professional $350 per month (from 150,000 emails per month, 10 seats included) and Enterprise at custom prices. Yearly billing is about 10% cheaper.
Price rises with monthly email volume, not just contacts: for example Starter and Standard cap contacts at 500 on the 5,000-email tier. A pay-as-you-go option sells credits that do not expire, one credit per email, without phone support.
