Chrome Remote Desktop is described by Google as a way to connect to your home or work computer or share your screen with others. On a computer it runs on the web and needs Chrome to set up access or request support. You set up hosts on Mac, Windows or Linux, and use the Android or iOS app from a phone or tablet. You access a computer with a PIN, and support sessions use a one-time access code that asks you to confirm sharing every 30 minutes.

AnyDesk provides its own client software. Its support page lists Windows, macOS, Linux, Raspberry Pi OS, Android and iOS, with limits: iOS devices cannot be remote controlled and ChromeOS devices can only be viewed. It also offers Cloud or On-Premises deployment and branded custom clients on higher plans.

On cost, the Chrome Remote Desktop home page and Help article mention no price or paid plan, and they do not say it is free in so many words. AnyDesk says it is free for personal use with limited features and support, and requires a licence for professional use. Its paid plans are billed annually: Solo $24.90 per month, Standard $42.90 and Advanced $90.90 (USD, excluding VAT).

Google's pages describe no team management, session recording or support contract. AnyDesk's pricing page lists user management in my.anydesk, file transfer, session recording and privacy mode on Standard, and phone support on Advanced.
