Squarespace is a hosted website builder. You start from a template or its AI builder, edit with a drag-and-drop editor, and sell products, services, bookings and memberships from the same account. Hosting and security, including SSL, are included.
There is no free plan, but every site starts with a free 14-day trial and no credit card is required. The pricing page shows three plans: Basic ($19/mo monthly or $12/mo annually), Core ($27 or $17) and Advanced ($36 or $25).
Transaction fees differ by plan. Online store fees are 2% on Basic and 0% on Core and Advanced. Digital content and membership fees are 7% on Basic, 5% on Core and 0% on Advanced. Annual plans include one year of free domain registration.
