Google Forms
Google's form and survey builder, with live charts, quizzes and Google Sheets export.
Our verdict
What it does well
- Drag-and-drop questions, templates, quizzes and show-by-answer logic
- Live response charts and one-click export to Google Sheets
- Forms API reads and writes forms and responses
Where it falls short
- Google's product page lists no payment collection or e-signature features
- Standalone pricing is not published; Forms is part of Google Workspace plans
- Official pages describe no limits, so response caps are not documented there

Google Forms lets you build online forms, surveys and quizzes with multiple question types, drag-and-drop ordering, premade templates and branching logic that shows questions based on earlier answers. You can customize colors, images and fonts, share by email, social media or an embed, and view automatic charts or export to Google Sheets.
Forms is included in the Google Workspace plans. The Workspace pricing page, when fetched, showed prices in euros only, per user per month excluding tax: Starter 6.80, Standard 13.60 and Plus 21.10 (monthly billing), with Enterprise by contact, so no US dollar figures are given here. Google's pages read do not state a price for personal Google accounts.
Developers can use the Google Forms API (forms.googleapis.com), which creates and updates forms, fetches responses and sets up watches for form activity. Respondents can fill in forms from any device and signed-in responders have drafts saved for 30 days.
