Our verdict

Good for people who want a first-draft deck or web page from a prompt and can tidy it in PowerPoint afterward. Skip it if you need pixel-exact PowerPoint output with slide masters, or a clear public price list you can verify before signing up.

What it does well

  • Free plan starts with 400 credits that do not expire
  • Exports to PowerPoint (PPTX), PDF and PNG, with speaker notes carried into PPTX
  • Pro and above include API access; ChatGPT and Claude connectors work on all plans

Where it falls short

  • Free-plan PDF and PPTX exports carry a Made with Gamma badge
  • Free credits do not refresh; Free plan is limited to up to 10 slides per prompt
  • No Word (.docx) export on any plan; slide master is empty in PPTX exports

Gamma generates presentations, documents and web pages with AI and lets you edit and publish them. Content is built from cards, and you can import existing slides or documents. Gamma's help center lists PDF, PNG and PowerPoint (PPTX) as export formats, and a PPTX can be uploaded to Google Slides.

Every new account starts on the Free plan with 400 credits that do not refresh. Per Gamma's help center, Plus includes 1,000 monthly credits and removes the badge, Pro includes 4,000 monthly credits with API access, custom domains and analytics, and Ultra includes 20,000. Unused plan credits roll over up to double the plan size.

Billing is per member. Gamma Business is $40 per member per month billed annually and adds SSO and 6,000 credits per member per month. Annual plans cost 28% less than monthly according to the help center, and Team plans are annual only. Enterprise is available separately. Plus and Pro dollar prices could not be read from Gamma's own pages.
