Both have free tiers with up to 100 participants per meeting. Zoom's Basic plan limits meetings to 40 minutes. Google Meet's free meetings can last up to 60 minutes, and Google says there is no time limit on mobile or one-on-one calls.

Paid Zoom is priced per user: Pro is $16.99 per month billed monthly or $14.16 per month billed annually (USD), and Business is $21.99 monthly or $18.33 billed annually with up to 300 participants. Paid Zoom plans allow meetings of up to 30 hours. Google Meet has no price of its own; business use comes with Google Workspace, and paid Meet features include group calls of up to 24 hours and up to 1,000 participants. We could not confirm Workspace prices in US dollars.

Zoom Workplace combines meetings with Zoom Chat, Phone, Mail and Calendar, Whiteboard and Docs. Google Meet's page describes meetings, with Gemini notes and summaries, polls and breakout rooms on paid plans.

On platforms, Zoom lists iPhone and iPad, Android, a web app and a browser extension on the pages we checked. Google lists the browser, the iOS and Android apps and meeting room hardware.
