ElevenLabs
AI platform for text to speech, voice cloning, dubbing, music and conversational agents, with an API.
Our verdict
What it does well
- Free plan with 10,000 credits a month (about 10 minutes of text to speech)
- Starter and up include a commercial licence and instant voice cloning
- Text to speech, dubbing, music, voice design and agents on one credit pool
Where it falls short
- Free plan is non-commercial and needs attribution to ElevenLabs
- Professional voice cloning needs Creator ($22/month list) or higher
- Credit cost varies by product and model, so minutes are only approximate

ElevenLabs offers text to speech in 90+ languages, voice cloning and voice design, a voice library, dubbing, sound effects, music generation and ElevenAgents for conversational agents, plus APIs and SDKs. All products draw on a shared pool of credits; the pricing page says text to speech uses 1 credit per character, and minutes shown are approximate.
Plans (USD): Free $0 with 10,000 credits a month; Starter $6 (30,000 credits, shown at $1 for the first month until Oct 18); Creator $22 (121,000, shown at $11 first month); Pro $99 (600,000); Scale $299 (1,800,000); Business $990 (6,000,000); and Enterprise. Annual billing costs 10 times the monthly price. Monthly credits reset each month, and up to two months of unused credits can roll over on self-serve plans.
Per the docs, free-plan content may be used non-commercially with attribution, while paid plans include commercial rights. Voice cloning (instant) starts at Starter; professional voice cloning starts at Creator.
